The Lions Are Coming

This Is Our Lions Maths we have been doing for the past weeks.
This is my maths I did and it took a long time to do but I got it done.
We did this because the lions only come to NZ every 12 years with thier best players and we did it to learn life skills about budgeting.

100 WC

(The weather changed dramatically) That was our head line for the 100 WC we did today.
This is my writing for the 100 WC hope you enjoy.
I was working to use semi-colons in my writing.

It was a great morning; I turn on my flat screen tv to see the weather for the week. She explained that it’s going to be sunny. Disappointed  I would have to work harder I got a call from the army saying I had the week off I jumped with excitement So I went to go for a nice relaxing swim for a little bit but then the weather changed dramatically, the city was flooding in seconds.I went home to get my gear because I now the army are going to call me to help with the evacuation...

Speech Board

Speech board is about Oral Language skills (Speaking and Listening). The ranks you can get from bad to great are Fail, Pass, Commended, Highly Commended and Distinction!

We do Speech board every year at Drummond Primary School from Year 5 to Year 8.

For Room 4 we did a bug, bird or fish. Room 3 did bugs only.   

                       

My Speech board was about the rose haired tarantula, a friendly spider that can help you get your mice and rat problem done in one day.

I got distinction in my Speech board first try and my feelings were gone! I was so happy that when I got home I went to get my phone and took a photo of myself to see how happy I was.

The egg

     

Incoming! Ban!..... “Lets get working on the new house for mr egg and mrs egg.” “ Sir me and two other guys are going to get more items for the house” “ ok don’t be long”.

“Sir lookout incoming”! ban! “omg that  was close” “ sir that is mr eggs...egg” “ but how did it get here” “ I don’t now it just came from above us” “but how?” “ We need more men to help us call the guys and tell them to come back here” “ yes sir.”

Bern! “ hallo come back now we need you” “ were coming lets go men”.
